June 2008

- Onkyo TX-SR606 AV Receiver now in. Essentially the same as the Award Winning ‘605 but with 4 HDMI inputs for greater flexibility. £400

- REL T3 sub on dem. Could this be the sub that displaces the best selling Quake ? Probably – it sounds better, has a real wood finish and is only £395.

- Linn Akurate DS day. 13th June 11- 5. Just drop in and have a listen to the future. The future sounds good.

- Finally on dem – the Trichord Diablo mm/mc phono stage with the “never connected” power supply. Vinyl customers may know how highly I rate the Dino, well this is better. A viable alternative to the mighty Linto.

May 2008

- Roksan Xerxes now on demonstration with XPS-7 and Tabriz Zi arm. Looks stunning in the gloss black finish and sounds even better.

- Linn Akurate DS coming VERY soon. Watch this space.

April 2008

- Project / Ortofon and van den Hul have all had to put their prices up by an average of 10% with immediate effect.

- Monitor Audio have also announced similar price increases, effective from 1st May – buy now and save !!

- LINN HAVE EXTENDED THE WINTER OFFER DETAILED BELOW UNTIL 31st MARCH.

- WE WILL BE HAVING A LAUNCH PARTY FOR THE MAJIK LP12 ON FRIDAY 4th APRIL BETWEEN 11.00am AND 5pm. JUST TURN UP AND HAVE A LISTEN.

- Marantz. SR7002 AV Receiver now on dem. This £1000 monster has full video conversion, right from composite to HDMI, enabling simple hook up to screens for multiple sources. Oh, and it sound great too.

- Trichord have re-vamped the best selling Dino phonostage (a personal favourite of mine). A few tweaks to the interior and a metal base plate are the changes. Now £349. Power supply options remain the same.

- Monitor Audio GSW12 subwoofer now on dem @£1000, to match the Gold series speakers.

- Onkyo. I now have the award winning Onkyo TX-SR605 AV Receiver on dem. £400 and can supply other Onkyo products to order.

- Fujitsu. Following Fujitsu’s announcement that it is pulling out of the European Flat Screen market, I am no longer able to supply new units. Full service backup is still provided of course for existing owners.

- Epos. New “Mi” series speaker range from Epos now on dem. Epos have tweaked the excellent M series with all new cabinets, modified drive units and better aesthetics. There will be a small price increase – M5i £425, M12i £525, M22i £1100. Very impressive they are too.
